So named because it was the first sauce I ever created!
This spicy BBQ-type sauce starts off sweet and then finishes with just a little bite. I use only red, ripened Jalapenos that I've grown myself preferring their maturity of flavor over that of green. These are then combined with tomato paste, brown sugar, and spices for a little 'kick' at the end of a sweet start.
This finds regular use among folks as a mopping sauce, pizza topping, on french fries, and anywhere ketchup is used. At the firehouses in Indianapolis it is used in Italian cooking, BBQ'ing, grilling, and as a marinade!
